Case Assignment

Describe the research process . What are the steps involved with conducting research?
Define the concepts of quantitative research, qualitative research, mixed methods, and action research; discuss the strengths of each of these types of research.
Select 2 research methodologies (i.e., one quantitative approach, one qualitative approach, and/or one combined strategy) from the list below and provide an example of how each could be used for a study relevant to your area of interest in education or training:

Quantitative Methods: experimental, correlational, survey research
Qualitative Methods: grounded theory, ethnography, case study, narrative research
Combined Qualitative and Quantitative Methods: mixed methods, action research
Assignment Expectations
To receive maximum credit, you must demonstrate understanding of context and purpose of the assignment by bringing all required elements (described above) to the discussion, and meeting additional expectations (described below).
Include at least three in-text references, preferably including one which is other than those provided in the assigned readings. Feel free to do additional research as necessary.
As Master s-level students, it is expected that you develop strong skills for reviewing literature.
The Bibliography and overall paper must be formatted properly in APA format and style.
HINT: To ensure a well-organized paper, begin your discussion with an introduction (including purpose statement), and then include a section for each assignment task. Use appropriate headings for each section and include a conclusion.
