Your grade on this assignment is based on how you answer each question and how you document your sources.

In addition to the MLA documentation information provided in your textbook’s Appendix, you should also reference the External Links section of your course to access updated information on MLA documentation through the “MLA Formatting and Style Guide.” Refer to this resource, yourLectures – Week Five folder, and your course textbook’s Appendix when responding to the questions within the Library Scavenger Huntassignment. This week, you must also complete a Citation Exercise assignment designed to help you practice incorporating research in your student essays for the purpose of supporting your claims. Specific instructions and an example of how to properly complete the Citation Exercise are included in the attachment. Follow the instructions carefully. Research and Citation Exercise

Directions:

Support each of the major claims listed below with researched material collected from at least one source (no more than two sources) for each answer. You may use credible online sources or library resources to respond to each claim. Write one paragraph, with a minimum of three minor supporting sentences, to support each major claim. Use the major claim as the paragraph’s topic sentence; then, support the claim with a combination of direct quotes, paraphrased material, and your own ideas.
