I’m trying to study for my Psychology course and I need some help to understand this question.

Ethics in research is an important issue. Regrettably, there have been lapses in ethical behavior by researchers. Your Team Assignment requires you to collaborate with several of your peers to develop a PowerPoint presentation that discusses one of these ethical lapses.

• Discuss what makes this an ethically problematic research study: why was it unethical? Who was harmed (if anyone)? Discuss what elements of the Psychological Code of Ethics were violated and how.
• What was the resolution of the ethical issue? Was research invalidated or retracted? Were people fined or jailed? What happened to the participants in the study? Were there changes to the way research would be done in the future? Note: The findings of the study are not relevant to this discussion.
• References: slide(s) with APA formatted references for all sources used in the preparation of the presentation
