Ethics and Values Underlying OD
Throughout this course, you have thought a great deal about the developmental problems inherent in organizations, and you have sought to resolve those concerns through interventions recommended by the leading researchers in the field. Anytime you consider using a process to alter human behavior, you must be very cognizant of the ethical implications of the changes.
For this discussion, your first paragraph(s) should defend your understanding of the ethics and values that OD is based upon. Specifically, what values do you feel are most important for an OD practitioner to uphold and why?
Review the code of ethics and value statements of the following organizations:

ODC, Organizational Development and Change; a division of the Academy of Management
SHRM, Society for Human Resources Management
SIOP, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology

Based on your review, for the second paragraph(s) of your post, develop your own code of ethics or value statement.
The final paragraph (three or four sentences) of your initial post should summarize the one or two key points that you are making in your initial response.
