This paper must be typed, a minimum of 5-6 full (5-6) pages, double spaced, font 12pt, with top, bottom and side margins at 1.25. Three career related sources from either the Career or Life Planning, Library or internet are required. This does not include catalog sources. Site your sources as end notes, i.e. (Career Handbook, Volume 2, page 32-33), or (www.careermosaic.com). Bold your citations in your paper. One of the three sources must be Eureka.
Research the career of your choice utilizing the resources available to you in the Career and Life Planning Center, Library and Internet. This project is designed to assist you in synthesizing the information you have received during the course of the semester. It will also help you to organize it in a manner that will be useful to you. Please make this project interesting and valuable to you!

Areas to include in your paper:
A: Introduction: Explain in detail why you have chosen this career. You must be specific in relating how this career matches your values (include your top 3 values), personality (include your Myers-Briggs type), skills, (include your top 3 skills) and interest (include your Holland Code). Describe how the nature of the work, working conditions, salary, etc match with whom you are. Be sure to reference your assessment results (Myers-Briggs and Strong), as well as classroom exercises and assignments that illustrate the connection of who you are and the career that you are choosing. Do not plagiarize from your sources!

B. What training/education/licenses is necessary for this career? i.e. AA, BA/BS, MA/MS, JD, Ph.D., etc. Research three schools that have your undergraduate major. Include one UC, one CSU, and one private or out of state institution. Compare and contrast your major at the different schools. What are the disadvantages and advantages of each program? Which of the three schools do you select to be your transfer school? Tell in your paper why you have chosen that school. If you are not planning to transfer, compare and contrast your major with two other community colleges, or vocational schools.

C. In closing, after completing the education plan in class, define your plan of action. What is your time frame for completion of your course work at Fullerton College? When do you expect to transfer? When do you expect to graduate from the University? Where do you see yourself in five years, in ten years?
