Thus far, we discussed types of organizational theory, performance practices, techniques to promote effective communication, the role of leadership in achieving performance goals, and strategies to overcome resistance to change. Your assignment for this unit is to write an essay identifying and discussing the impact of at least one major trend that influences human behavior and performance and is currently impacting the industry in which you currently work or the industry where you intend to work.

Be sure to discuss the following topics in your essay:

1. • An introduction with a brief description of your industry and the trend(s) impacting your industry.
   • Types of organizational theory that impact performance in your company or industry. (CLO 1, CLO 2)
   • Techniques of communication leaders can use effectively as strategies to overcome resistance to achieve performance goals. (CLO 4, CLO 5, CLO 6).
