Drug production itself will remain decentralized, with its own secure facilities elsewhere in Milwaukee and other cities. Some sales and marketing operations will also remain decentralized, but senior leadership for sales and marketing will be located in Milwaukee. The new site is clean, and it does not have any existing building on it. WP will get to start from scratch and build its own facilities as it wants to. The CEO and senior leadership want a building that soars, and that features open spaces both in the lobby as well as in the office areas.

The entranceway and lobby will be open for three floors so that the overall impression is cathedral-like. As part of the new and progressive look, the CEO wants to aID art and sculpture that will complement the architecture. Although she and the board have approved a liberal budget ($5 million) for the art, she wants some of it featured in the entranceway and lobby, and she has also specified that some of the art is to be scattered throughout the five-story, 100,000-square-foot building.
