Experimental Design for Biologists Reflection
Instructions: Read Ch. 22 only pg 137-146 & 152-154, Read Ch. 23 only pg. 155-162. (I suggest you skim the other examples and read them if they seem relevant to your project.) Read all of CH. 29, and then read through the very short chapters 30 & 34. Use those last two chapters as a quick reference guide for your project. Be prepared to discuss these concepts in class, as they relate to your project.

4. Briefly describe a negative control, positive control, biological replicate, and technical replicate for your proposed study. If you haven’t gotten to the point to be able to do this, then use the hypothetical experiment from the assignment last week regarding the question “How does cricket respiration rate change with increasing temperature?”
