This week’s lab activities pertain to the type of cell division known as meiosis.  Mistakes or errors during the process can lead to chromosomal-based genetic disorders/diseases such as Down syndrome.  For this week’s discussion, I would like for you to find an example of chromosomal-based genetic disorder/disease that occurs as a result of an error during meiosis.
