Explain how this can be related to both the social identity theory and social categorization theory (based on the readings.) Which of the theories is most convincing? Discuss how competing theories (such as social pluralism or others that you may read-Gibson) might explain the same situation in different ways and to use examples from both Africa and the United States to support your argument.
