I am a firm believer that there is art just about anywhere in life. Art can capture the simplest things like an apple on a table or a cities skyline; It can capture historical events like a disaster or a presidential inauguration. We benefit a great deal from art and I don’t think people realize just how important art plays in our everyday life.

As a marketing major, I have seen how important artists/creatives are important in the field, namely advertising. We need designers, photographers, writers, and artists to appeal to the public’s senses. I also believe with new technology art has not only become more accessible to the world but has allowed artists to create things in ways never before.
