Help me study for my Art & Design class. I’m stuck and don’t understand.

1-Read from Adam Smith’s “An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations.” As per Fiero, “What natural forces dominate the economic life of the nations, according to Smith?”…and…”Would you consider Smith a realist or an idealist?” Why?

2-Fiero writes that in 1619 “William Harvey accurately traces the circulation of the blood”? Write about one way this discovery was valuable in the 1600’s. Once written, it can’t be repeated in an original posting

3-Read the selection from Jonathan Swift’s A Modest Proposal (reading 25.3) in Fiero. What do you think of the piece? Who was it written for? Could a satire like this be written today? What is a modern satire from the 20th or 21st century? Once that satire is suggested it can’t be repeated in an original posting.

4-Galileo Galilei was condemned for his scientific views/findings/concepts. What is another real-life scientist/thinker/artist whose views were initially condemned and, later, largely accepted? What were those views? What made them, acceptable? Once posted, it can’t be repeated in an original posting, so post early.
