Teacher candidate will demonstrate knowledge about and understanding of diverse family characteristics and the importance of partnerships with families and communities in early childhood education through the research of an article pertaining to family systems and child growth and development, equity and diversity and its significance through a 2 to 3 page written paper. This paper will presented in class. (15 points)
The article chosen for this paper will be from a professional journal with content that pertains to topics discussed in our class. (Examples: Family engagement, family systems, family or cultural diversity, any one of the assets or stressors, etc.). The paper will include references in APA format and correct grammar and spelling.
