All cell phones are now equipped with GPS chips that enable users to be located within a geographical location about the size of a tennis court. The primary purpose for installing GPS chips in phones is to enable emergency services to locate a cell phone user. This can be very useful in situations where you are unable to give address information to the emergency operator for some reason. Also there are several services out there to track your children and employees. The technology is changing every day.
For this assignment go out on the web and research at least three e-commerce marketers and detail what they are saying about personalized marketing using GPS-equipped cell phones.
