The following provides guidelines for completing the book summaries that include self-assessments for applying concepts from the books to your professional development.
As with all assignments please follow APA writing guidelines.
1. Include a cover page (does not count towards the 2-3 page requirement)
2. Write a 2-3 page summary of the book and your self-assessment.
Each summary will include:
An introduction providing an overview of what was covered in the book
Provide a personal narrative of what you felt were the most important parts; explain how you might apply the concepts to your professional development
Summarize key conclusions you developed from the material and discussions
