NYU Positive & Negative Effects of Having Access to Technology While Under the Age Of 5 Research The final paper (i.e., the preregistration document with a design and analysis plan, etc.) should include:

– 1 page of background (in narrative format)

– 1 page outlining your question(s) and hypothesis (also in narrative format)

– 1-2 pages describing the methods (you may use a narrative, subtitled, or bulleted format)

– 2 pages describing the analysis plan (including how your data will be collected, clearly delineated IVs and DVs, and some kind of regression/analysis equation; you may use a narrative, subtitled, or bulleted format)

– 1 page describing your interpretation of the possible results as well as the remaining questions and future directions (in a narrative format)

Please do not submit a paper longer than 8 pages. These page number requirements refer to 12-pt Times New Roman font with 1” margins, single spaced. If you would like to submit something that is double spaced, double the page numbers.

You may also submit 1 additional page of figures. Neither figures nor references (at least 15 in standard APA format) count in the page number requirement. Please submit a MS Word document, not a PDF.

Final Experimental Outline and Plan of Analysis: You will prepare a polished 6-8-page final submission of a full experimental design and analysis plan. Samples will be provided in class, and you should use these samples as models for your submission. I also strongly encourage you to meet with me and the TA to discuss your work as you develop it. The earlier the better! The final version should use in-text citations and a reference list (consisting of at least 15 primary research articles) in APA format. The paper is due Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 11:59PM. This assignment will *not* be accepted late.
