American Military University Biohacking Techniques Discussion Another popular and persistent trend is Biohacking. In the truest sense of this term, Biohacking seems to promise that there are shortcuts to achieving your goals. Not as specific, but still helpful, are fitness tracking devices.

Is Biohacking real? Are there really effective shortcuts to achieving your health and fitness goals? Please be specific with the Biohack that you choose to discuss, and include appropriate references to the fitness principle that this hack is attempting to exploit.
There are many types of fitness tracking devices, along with the ability to sync to the internet, to your coach, training group, fitness challenge, etc. Please list a specific device and the benefits that it can provide. In addition, please speak to the potential pitfalls of these devices, as they may not be for everyone.
Whichever you choose to discuss, please include justification for your response. Exercise physiology and health behavior research would be a good place to start.
