Ebenezer Church Testimonial Paper Need proofing and re-write testimony for a non profit website. Testimonial needs to be short and impactful 200 words or less. What attacked me to Ebenezer was the preached word and the whole service? I became a Christian and
went to church in a Methodist church. But after I received the gift of the Holy Ghost my spirit man was
hungry for more. That is the best way I can explained it. A close relative told me to visit Ebenezer
because it was a good church and the preacher can preach. I never attended an holiness church before
and never really knew about the organization. Ever since I walked into that door my life has not been
the same. I asked God to lead me to a church where I can grow spiritually, learn more about Him, and
learn to see and know the trips of the enemy. I grew up in a church environment where the service last
1hrs. If I visited another church on Sunday, my mind would be at Ebenezer. I would be asking myself,
what are they doing now? What is the choir singing? What is the pastor preaching? I remembered
praying asking God to lead me to a church that preached your Word, where I can grow spiritually. He
told me to joined Ebenezer.
Ebenezer has shown me love in so many ways from the pulpit to the door. From the time that I joined,
over 30 yrs ago and present, Ebenezer members have embraced me and my family. When my
grandmother was bedridden the Co-Pastor, ministers, and missionary would come to my mom house to
encourage my grandmother and give her communion. One of the deacons but now Minister would
come every Sunday morning to have Sunday School lesson with her. During this time my father wanted
nothing to do with church. I know because of the love that was shown to my grandmother, my father
stood back and quietly watch Ebenezer members portrayed unconditional love that he repented and ask
Jesus to come into his life. Since that day the same Minister that came and had Sunday School class with
my grandmother in bed also picked up my dad for services during the week and on Sundays.
Bishop is God servant. His transparency in His preaching and teaching, his humbleness, the wisdom and
calm demeanor plus more connects me with pastor. He is like a father to me. He has seen me during my
good and not so good days. When I felt unsecure and didn’t know how to receive love he kept loving
me, encouraging me, prayed for me. I love my Bishop and so grateful to God for the live he lives.
I looked forward to the most is seeing the number of souls (active members) that will join Ebenzer as
God has promised Bishop. I looked forward in walking into the new church and praising and magnifying
God. I forward in see Jesus face in peace and He welcoming me home.
