California State University Fresno Gender Identity Annotated Bibliography Annotated Bibliography Prompt
You will be doing an annotated bibliography on Gender Identity. I will provide you with an essay thats already been written, all you need to do is read the essay and find more sources that can be used to expand on the topic and do the annotated bibliography.
Instructions Prior to submitting the third essay, you are expected to submit the annotated bibliography. It is to be typed and 12 points in either the Arial or Times New Roman font styles. You may single-space or double-space this assignment, but remember that Works Cited entries are double-spaced in essays and therefore should be double-spaced in your research paper.
What is an Annotated Bibliography? An annotated bibliography includes the sources you plan on using for the research paper. The sources themselves are written as they would be on a Works Cited page, and a paragraph of at least four complete sentences follows each source. The first sentence is a summary of the source while the remaining sentences explain how the source will be helpful to your research paper. Do not include the explanatory paragraphs on the Works Cited page for Essay # 3. Because the prompt states that you are to include at least four sources(including the op-ed you will be using), you are to do the same for the annotated bibliography. Therefore, even if you plan on using one or more reading assignment in your research paper, do not include them in the annotated bibliography. Also, remember to avoid using more than three personal interviews, YouTube videos, and/or non-database online sources.

Robelen, Eric W., and Michelle R Davis. Fine Line on Schools for Bush, Kerry.Education Week, vol. 24, no. Oct 2004, pp. 3032.ERIC, eric.ed.gov/?q=george w bush john kerry &id=EJ755770.
This article shows the similarities and differences Bush and Kerry had on the education issue during the 2004 election. I plan to use the Rogerian Method to address opposing concerns about the education issues that were a large part of this election. There were issues that both sides raised that had merit. I plan to argue that both sides were able to agree that Bushs No Child Left Behind reform act was a needed change to the educational system, so it was not that big of an issue.
