Group Oral Presentation II – Global Trade (3-5 students per
group or 10 pts. deducted)
Select a category (e.g. coffee beans), a country (e.g. who does Ireland trade with and what goods
and services do they trade), or a business (e.g. Founder’s Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids, MI.) to
analyze. Select something of interest to you so you enjoy the process and preparation of this
public speaking exercise. You do not have to have America as the focus of your trade topic. The
only requirement is that you have money (goods and services) moving across several countries
and data to show the dollar amounts, volume of trade, percent of growth etc.
Presentation Requirements
Your paper will be graded by the rubric below. You are requested to keep your presentation to
approximately five minutes in length. You can write in your own style, a brief PowerPoint, Prezi,
or Google Slides presentation is recommended.
