Social equity is concerned with justice and fairness of social policies. By applying theories of social equities, public administrators are capable of increasing the public’s access to education and resources while ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard regardless of your race or socio economic background. However, this is not the case for certain communities across the United States.
Regarding the social equity presentation. You can locate a service provided in your community and speak on how it can be improved. Or, come up with a strategy, policy or program that you think would be useful in your community that would help provide a service for those impacted by inequities in your community.
This is an individual assignment. You must create a three slide presentation on one recommended strategy for best practice in social equity.
