Research Paper on the 2008 housing crisis in America

My professor has instructed me to write a 10 page research paper of inequality in America. The topic I was given was the 2008 Housing crisis. The research question in focus is a two part question: (How did the 2008 Housing Crisis impact housing attainment and employment for African Americans and Latinos in California? How did these factors contribute to the racial wealth gap in America?) Please align your research as best as possible to answer this two part question. Any sources are welcome however please try to focus on only using scholarly academic sources. I have provided some guidelines please disregard the assignments and dates for the outline and draft paper however there are some useful tips for formatting the paper. I have also added a student example and my own outline along with some useful sources I have acquired. While the research is mainly focused in the state of CA you may use examples around the U.S. to compare and contrast with those in CA. The research paper must have a research question and thesis stated in the text, I have provided the research question but you are welcome to modify it to curtail your needs so long as it is involving the areas I have shown above. Please tie in your sources with your ideas and thoughts and explain throughly how the crisis was started and how it impacted the racial groups listed above as well as how this has affected the racial wealth gap in America. Explain how the sources and materials lead to your findings in the paper.
