1. Explain what Socrates understood with the phrase “The unexamined life is not worth living” (that appears in the “Apology”) and how it relates to the question: “What is Philosophy?”

2. Elaborate on the differences between Socrates’s and Russell’s perspectives concerning the “value of philosophy” and argue for or against one of these perspectives.

3. Explain what Kant means by “Sapere Aude” and make a critique about today’s social perspective on knowledge and education using his analysis in the text “What is Enlightenment?”

4. Identify and analyze a popular idea or social movement using Frankfurt’s views In the text “On Bullshit.”

Requirements:

-Words: 1500 min- 2000 max
-Font: Number 12 (Times, Times New Roman, Palatino, Arial, Helvetica, or Courier)

-Double spaced
– Citations must be based on the assigned texts and on the video lectures (Do not use external resources at least to present contemporary issues.)
