Collection of Integrated Activities
CIA Purpose
This project is a Collection of Integrated Activities (CIA). The purpose is to integrate
extra-curricular activities (focuses), such as Arts and Wellness, with academic subjects. The
focuses can be used to teach a subject or manage the classroom. This will make learning
interesting, appeal to various Learning Styles and Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences, as well as
include subjects that are often eliminated in budget cuts.
Students are NOT to “create” the activities. Activities can be found on websites, in
books, and in textbook resources. Teachers do not need to re-create the wheel. Learn to search
for ideas, without plagiarizing. You will have 6 different citations for this activity.
Your Practice Activity Assignment will integrate one of the Focuses with Classroom
Management, rather than one of the subjects below. The practice page does not count as one
of your activity pages.
