Description
The customer has written 5 pages. It needs to be written 10 pages. Totally the paper be 15 pages
The professor sent:
I have had a few questions about the order of the paper and everything that needs to be included. I have provided more information on this below. As a reminder, it is okay if your relationship is not statistically significant. You will not lose points if you cannot confirm your hypothesis.
I have also attached a document with examples of tables. This is from my own work and currently under review so please do not disseminate the document.
The paper should be in APSA format, about 15 pages long, double spaced.
Introduction (1-2 pages)
Introduce your research question, why it is important, and what you think the answer is.
Literature Review, Theory and Hypothesis (3-4)
You should have a shortened literature review on what we know about your research question. You need to develop a theory on what you think the answer to the research question is. This theory should be translated into a testable hypothesis.
Data
You should include where you got your data, how it was gathered, when it was gathered, etc. You need to discuss how your operationalize your variables, the wording of the question, the answer options, and why this is an appropriate way to measure your concept. You should do this first with your dependent variable, then your independent variable, and then your control variables. You should explain what you are controlling for and why. You should provide the descriptive statistics of your variables (mean, standard deviation, histograms etc) here as well.
Method
This section should describe what statistical analysis you are conducting to test your hypothesis and why. Are you going to use a regression, chi-square, t-test? Which one is the most appropriate and why? Remember, the test you use all depends on how your dependent variable is measured. Provide the formatted table of your results. You may also need to provide scatter plots, box plots, avplots, etc.
Analysis
You need to interpret the statistical analysis that you used. For example, if you use a regression, you should interpret your coefficients, explain if they are statistically significant, and explain whether they are substantively significant. You should then discuss what the results of the statistical test says about your hypothesis. Can you confirm it?
Conclusion
This section should summarize your findings, discuss any limitations in your research, and discuss future avenues for research.
