Work Week 4: Journal Entry
In this journal entry I want you to reflect on the following question:
Why might it hard to share our opinions and convictions on a social problem publicly?
This is an open question and there are many ways that you could answer it. Focus on one specific idea and write a detailed answer, using specific examples. Your answer should be a couple paragraphs long. Here are some ideas of ways in which you can answer the post (do not answer all of these questions; you may answer the question in other ways as well).
What are your fears in doing this?
What do you think could help make you a better advocate for social problems that you care about?
In what forms (facebook, twitter, campus, friends or strangers, blogs) are you more or less comfortable talking about social problems and why? What might be the limitations of those forms of communication?
For full points:
Title (in subject line) should be informative
Work should be proof read, organized and clear.
Work should provide a clear answer to the reflection question.
Reflection should include specific examples, not general statements.
Length 2 paragraphs.
Work should show that the student has reflected on the question and not merely recounted their actions.
