Part I: This course introduces the broad topic of public health. We have all heard of it, but what does it mean, really? To start off, consider what public health means to you and what role it plays in your daily life.
Introduce yourself to your classmates, telling a little about your interest in public health (e.g., casual interest, citizen, specific reasons).
Share what public health means to you and what role it plays in your daily life. Provide a current example.
Read your classmates’ posts and respond to at least two, providing additional information or indicating what you learned from their posts.Part II-
When responding to the discussion questions, use the terms, concepts, and theories from your readings, videos, and other course materials. Do the same when commenting on your peers’ responses. To help internalize the course content and become more comfortable with it, it is important to have meaningful conversations with your peers and instructor.
